In Canada and in Great Britain we sang a typical new year's song.
In Germany, Sweden and Finland they melted a metal (tin!) and put in cold water to see the staff's future. In germany they also give little toys to wish luck.
For Guatemala' s celebration we watched a video with their fire works and they also had fake champain.

We got a lot of party stuffs, like hat, neckless, masks to celebrate the new year's here, in Costa Rica. We had a greeeeeat party and everybody had a lot of fun, dancing a lot!
During the whole day we counted the last 10 seconds of each country, starting with Thailand at eleven am and finishing with Costa Rica at midnight.
