Thailand is a delegation of the day today.  We woke our friends up with Thai music.  Pon was not with us this morning because today is his day-off.  We had catering for breakfast so we didn’t have to wash dishes. J
We had our flag-time.  Then for breakfast, we asked questions about Thailand in order to let them have breakfast.  Our first activity was making, actions or movements and new words to communicate. We really liked Samurai, Ha, So, Go, No, game.

Pon and IB came back to join us for lunch.  Then we had siesta and JC shop. We continued with a Auction activity.  We were divided into groups and given money to buy things.  We had to discuss in groups to buy things.
Dinner then we had Finnish National Night.  We really enjoyed the play they had.
For lullaby we sang You’ve Got a Friend, Lemon Tree, Can You Feel the Love Tonight then We are the World.

Today was a fun day at KiKi RiKi village! We spent the morning working on a bridge-building challenge. We started with small groups and a few items. Our goal was to build a bridge together using just a few materials. We has to build several bridges, each with a bigger gap to cross. We learned hoy hard it can be to work as a team. We also realized the importance of re-using materials because all of the items udes were "garbage". We promised to try harder to recycle so we are not being so wasteful.

In the afternoon, we were excited to find out who our secret "monito" was. We sang the monito song and gave our monito a present and a hug.

It was fun to find out who our secret friend had been for the last week.

Finally we enjoyed Germany's national night. We learned a lot about life in Germany. We enjoyed the story of little red tiding hood. Everyone loved the dances and enjoyed the jello snack. We had a great time as delegation of the day!

Visitors arrived around 2 PM and started to walking around. There was a lot of people and lots of children.

When everyone was seated in Horcones we went on with our national presentacion and at the end everyone sang the camp song, here comes the sun. It was also great to see everyone join in the CISV-song.

Today the JC’s were the awesome delegation of the day!
In the morning, we woke everyone up energetically with loud music and whistles.
Then we rushed out all the kids in their PJs we gave them a morning aerobic workout. The kids didn’t think it was very funny but we did.

For the day activities we played fax machine, where we had to communicate without talking, through actions and drawings.
We also played bang, which required quick thinking and lots of energy.
For another activity we played Traffic Light, which is an icebreaker that was really fun.

For the evening activity the JCs and Staff planned a games night, with lots of different stations for the kids. At each station there were different games, like pictionary, taboo, charades, cards, and guess the character on your forehead.

And at night, during lullabies, we had a special surprise for the Costa Rican JC, Vero, because it is her birthday tomorrow. The staff brought in a typical Costa Rican band and a cake, and we had a pyjamas party in our in our lullabies room.
It was a great way to a great day.

Love from JC land,
Vero, Isabel, Nash, Beth, Fabi, and Jesus

Today Norway was delegation of the day. We woke everybody up with Norwegian music.

In the first activity we played the human knot. The first time it went really well, but the second time we struggled to make a circle. We also played a mingle game where we had to form different groups as the leaders called them out.

In the second activity we played Fantasy island. The children split into six groups and the leaders were one group. We made up fantasy countries with map, flag, greetings, money, national costume and 3 rules. The leaders' country was the coolest :)

In the third activity we played a game called Chaos. We ran around the camp site to do tasks in order to move on a game board. It was a lot of fun.

In the evening Guatemala had their national night. They showed us beautiful pictures from their country, danced a traditional dance and tought us how to play LoterĂa in Guatemalan style. It was a lot of fun. We also got a very nice picture frame as scrap book and they gave us snack and candy from their country. Thank you very much Guatemalan delegation for a very special and memorable national night!

Today was another great day in this fantastic camp. We love it here!

Best wishes from the Norwegian delegation.
